Château des Trois Tours is a castle located in the Entre-Deux-Mers southeast of the city of Bordeaux owned by the Lumeau family, now in their 8th generation of being in the wine business.
Entre-Deux-Mers is not known for being home to the great first growths of Bordeaux, however it is known for producing wine you can afford to drink any day of the week.
The family’s scant team of fewer than a dozen employees works diligently to produce a surprisingly good wine for a surprisingly low cost.
Trois Tours does what good inexpensive Bordeaux does, tastes of concentrated red fruits, raspberry and the like, while having enough structure to hang for 5 to 7 years after the vintage with no difficulty.
