State Line's Four Rose's Single
This was selected from the finest batch of barrel samples we
have ever tasted. We taste through them to get to three finalists and then do a
taste off. Well this year the final three all tied in points after our final
sampling, so we picked the one with the most points from the first round. When
the distillery emailed with the details and we released it was a 124 proof
barrel, we were shocked! This whiskey is 11 years old and made from 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley. It is smooth and
rich, with a distint spicy aroma and a moderate, balanced char. Make sure to
add some good water to bring this down to a drinking proof, it will also help
release the aromas and flavors on the palate!

New Spirit Offerings!
We just received two Private Single Cask Single Malt Scotch bottlings from The Arran along with two Rye expressions from Dad's Hat in Pennsylvania. They're outstanding, expressive whiskies!
The Arran Peated 54.6% $79.99
At first the nose reveals subtle notes of coconut, orange peel and toasted oak. A few drops of water bring out a hint of peat smoke mingled with a clean fresh undertone. Flavors of honey and vanilla coat the tongue while a swirl of smoke and cardamom spice complete the finish at the back of the palate. Arran Peated is matured in ex-Bourbon Barrels.
The Arran Sherry Matured 56.5% $79.99
The influence of this ex-sherry Hogshead cask is immediately apparent on the nose-dried fruits and vanilla, with a hint of a mint-toffee character emerging after a splash of water. A spicy fruitiness reveals the intrinsic character of the Arran Malt along with notes of ginger cake and fresh pineapple.
Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey $42.99
Floral and spicy on the nose with a well-balanced mouth feel and flavor and up-front and back-end spice, cinnamon on the mid-palate. Underlying notes of dried fruit and black cherry with hints of tobacco, vanilla and oak
