This article by Megan Krigbaum, in Punch, leads us down her path of attempts to discover what basic expenses are figured into the price of a single bottle of wine.  She was inspired by that $3.50 bargain wine her mom was so excited to bring home.  It just doesn’t quite add up!

Wine Tasting:  Immersion in Rhone Grape Varieties

Saturday, May 6th  3-5pm      $30 per person

This tasting will focus on grape varieties from the Rhone region of France, from special vineyards around the world- Australia, California, Spain and of course, Rhone France.  Syrah, Grenache, Mouvedre, Viognier, Marsanne, Roussane …A walk-around tasting, with representatives from the distributors and importers.   And we will have some heavy appetizers to fortify!

Our intent is that you can come and learn about a region’s grape varieties, spend time with your friends/partners, have some great food, as you stroll through the offerings.

 Food to be Catered by The Blue Crab Grill!    Yes, they do much more than seafood!  

Smoked French Country Sausage, Beef Short Rib Sliders, Smoked Salmon and Goat Cheese Crostini, Korean BBQ Pork Belly Skewers with Kim Chee and more!!
